Keeping the tradition, ‘World Humanitarian Summit 2021’, the annual flagship event of World Peace & Diplomacy Organization was organized on April 30, 2021 on global social platforms of YouTube & Facebook. WPDO is a renowned Not for Profit organization, known for its world peace advocacy and supportive activities following the doctrines of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030.The Summit was organized by WPDO’s organizing partner, Unified Brainz Group, a leading brand management & business consulting firm along with its evaluation partner CIAC Global and chamber partner, Asian African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI).

One of the main aims of WPDO is to identify the most compassionate people whose heart beats for the needy and tormented; those who want to see peace prevailed across the nations, a world full of harmony & synchronization.

Such people were recognized and bestowed upon during the World Humanitarian Summit 2021 with the Peace Ambassador & Peace Messenger titles from WPDO so that more and more people follow their footprints on the path of peace in order to make this world a better place to live in.

The Summit is a platform where world leaders, diplomats, celebrities and professionals from across the globe joined hands to encourage the philanthropists and humanitarian leaders. It began with the welcome note by the Founder & President of WPDO’s, Dr. GD Singh who showed concerns over the gloomy situation caused by the global lockdown and the pain of poor and unprivileged people who have suffered the most both in terms of monitory deficit as well as healthcare. But he hoped that soon the darkness would be prevailed by the new sunlight.

The summit was graced by the presence of world leaders, HE Dina Grace Akelo – High Commissioner of Uganda, HE Dr Roger Gopaul, High Commissioner for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Ambassador Anil Wadhwa – Former Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs of India & Indian Ambassador to Italy, Poland, Oman and Thailand and AMB; Mr. Anil Trigunayat, IFS {RETD}, Governing Council Member, Raisina House, Former Indian Ambassador to Libiya, Jordan & Malta. They allshared their views on current scenario of uncertainty and chaos and yet the soft hopes of revival and a new beginning; High Prince Leye Dr. Babalola, the President of ICCA, Nigeria and HE Mahesh Sachdeva – President Eco Diplomacy and Strategies.

United Nations – Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC) has last year Granted its parent organization, Confederation of Indian Healthcare Foundation (CIHF) “Special Consultative Status” which enables it to become the voice of various non-member NGOs in the United Nations for various welfare schemes and to curb inhuman behavior against the underprivileged.
